Morgan J. Fuoco

LGBT Institute Research Fellow, Spring 2016 Cohort

Morgan J. Fuoco is a public health sociologist and will be graduating in May with a Master of Arts degree and Graduate Certificate. My concentration is in statistics and methodology. In the last year I was privileged to work as a Research Assistant with the Atlanta Youth Count! Needs Assessment, a community research project focused on homeless youth in metro Atlanta. Currently, my thesis is focused on mental health outcomes among LGBTQ homeless youth. As a queer woman, I am invested in conducting research in conjunction with members of the LGBTQ communities so that policy and social reforms better address the needs and lived realities of the these communities.
